EN 10025-EUROPEAN STANDARDS FOR STRUCTURAL STEEL

Publisher:TianchengTime:2018-07-01Number:111

EN10025(1-6) Brief Introduction:

EN 10025 includes a series of European standards for structural steel products, delivery condition is specified as hot rolled. For example, hot rolled steel coils, hot rolled steel section. EN 10025 standard (6 parts) covers a wide range of structural steel product.

EN 10025-1:2004 General technical delivery conditions.

EN 10025-2:2004 Technical delivery conditions for non-alloy structural steel products.

  • S Structural steel.

  • E Engineering steel.

  • 235 Minimum yield strength (Reh) in MPa at 16mm

  • JR Longitudinal Charpy V-notch impacts 27 J at + 20°C

  • J0 Longitudinal Charpy V-notch impacts 27 J at 0°C

  • J2 Longitudinal Charpy V-notch impacts 27 J at - 20°C

  • K2 Longitudinal Charpy V-notch impacts 40 J at - 20°C

  • +AR Supply in as rolled conditions

  • +N Supply in normalized/normalized rolled conditions

Customer options.

History of EN 10025(1-6):
Written by European Committee for Iron and Steel Standardisation, which is a department working on European Standards for structural steel product.
First version of EN 10025 was released in UK by BSI (British Standards Institute)- EN 10025 : 1990, European Standards (ENs) for structural steel products. The first version of this standard is named EN 10025-1990, it replaced part of of BS4360:1986; the second version of EN 10025 was released in 1993, EN 10113 : parts 1, 2 & 3 and EN 10155 was made together. In the summer of 1994, EN10210: part 1 was released and BS 4360 was invalid officially. In 2008 EN 10025 standards replaced SANS 1431 as the newest EN version
